John C. Thrasher
Susan and I have run our own firm for more than a decade here in Rupert, Vermont. Prior to practicing in small town Vermont I practiced in our states capital, Montpelier, and before that in Burlington, Vermont’s largest city.
The areas of law in which I concentrate are real estate, estate planning, zoning issues as well as representing municipalities.
My professional approach to the practice of law focuses on solving problems and eliminating potential issues before they become a problem.
Representative clients include several municipalities, regional banks, a major ski resort, the United States Department of Agriculture, the Vermont Land Trust, Inc. as well as numerous individuals with a wide range of legal problems.
I enjoy practicing in Rupert, which I affectionately call the center of the universe. By utilizing technology, despite being hidden in a small town, we are able to assist clients all over the State and the world. We have assisted clients in the buying or selling of real estate in over 125 of Vermont’s 251 towns.
