Susan M. Ceglowski
John and I have run our own firm for more than a decade in my hometown of Rupert, Vermont. Prior to practicing in southern Vermont I worked as an Assistant Attorney General for the Vermont Attorney General’s Office and as Associate General Counsel to the Vermont Environmental Board (now the Natural Resources Board).
I work primarily in the areas of environmental permitting, environmental enforcement, probate, and equine law. My clients include Vermont businesses seeking environmental permits, executors, administrators, and beneficiaries of estates, boarding stables and riding programs as well as individuals with a wide range of legal questions.
I enjoy practicing in the town where I grew up. Despite being located in a small town, we are able to assist clients all over the State and the world by utilizing technology.
I value education and serve on the U.D. #47 School Board (Chair), the Pawlet School Board (Clerk) and the Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union Board (Chair). I also serve on the Advisory Council of Merck Forest and Farmland Center.
